Maurizio Condoluci

Architect

Maurizio Condoluci graduated in Urban Planning from La Sapienza University of Rome.

He began his professional career at “deStudio”, quickly taking on the role of Project Architect, which allowed him to work from the outset on large-scale projects with significant technical complexity. Here, the integrated design approach merged seamlessly with project management activities.
His early experience ranged from the restoration of historical complexes in central Rome (such as Palazzo Theodoli Bianchelli – Chamber of Deputies) to the design of large agri-food distribution centers (such as the Fruit and Vegetable Market of Fondi), covering all phases from design development to shop drawings and site supervision.

He also worked on the design and implementation of technological systems for mobile phone base stations, including interventions at Rome’s Termini Station for various telecom providers.

In 2001, he co-founded Westway Architects with architect Luca Aureggi, with the aim of combining a British-style design approach with the material and emotional sensitivity rooted in Mediterranean culture.

During those years, he began a strong collaboration with Sturchio Architects & Designers, working on large-scale projects such as the restyling of Ferrari’s GES (Gestione Sportiva) in Maranello, for Maserati, and many other initiatives across Italy.

In 2004, he obtained his qualification as a Fire Protection Officer, and in 2005 as a Health & Safety Coordinator for construction sites.

Over ten years of activity, the firm has worked on projects of various scales and types, from private residences to large residential complexes, offices, retail spaces, special projects, and landscaping, with work carried out in Rome, Milan, and Venice.

The studio’s expertise ranges from small- to large-scale interventions, shaping a unique ability to manage intricate details in major projects and to structure complex thinking even in small-scale developments.
